YOUTH

Becoming a youth or cadet member marks the beginning of your journey as a surf lifesaver. You will gain essential surf awareness skills, learn how to perform rescues, and operate as part of a patrol team. With guidance from experienced members, it's a fantastic way to build your confidence, develop your abilities, meet new people, and help keep our beach safe.
Our youth members (aged U14 to U17) are the future leaders of the Surf Life Saving movement. That’s why we’re committed to offering opportunities for growth—helping to build not only the skills needed to become outstanding surf lifesavers, but also the confidence and character to contribute meaningfully to our local communities.
