Description
The SLSWA IRB Crew Certificate course trains Surf Life Saving WA members to safely crew an Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) during surf rescue operations, focusing on hazard identification, patient rescue (conscious/unconscious), and boat handling. The course usually runs over 4–10 practical training sessions, focusing on skills required for patrol. Participants must be at least 15 years old on the date of final assessment.

Hold a current Bronze Medallion
Complete the checklist provided to you by the Director of Education
